About

a mile a day keeps the doctor away is about running, the pursuit of medicine, and all that the aforesaid entails.

I am a writer, runner, and multi-racial woman of color [read: byproduct of colonization], born and raised in the Bay Area. I currently reside in the Northeast where it seems to perpetually be winter. I’m in my fourth year of medical school, but please don’t call me a medical student. While I’m not partial to labels, I am concurrently interminably vexed by people who “don’t want to be labelled.” Fuck those people. Feel free to call me a womanist, a satirist, and a social critic.

Yours sincerely,
